Antenatal Guidance

Comprehensive care during pregnancy to ensure the health of both mother and baby.

Frequently asked questions

Antenatal care refers to the medical attention and support given to a pregnant woman throughout her pregnancy. It helps monitor the health of both the mother and the baby, detect complications early, and provide education on a healthy pregnancy, labor, and delivery.

Ideally, your first antenatal visit should be scheduled as soon as you find out you’re pregnant, usually around 6–8 weeks of pregnancy. Regular follow-ups are recommended throughout each trimester.

Commonly recommended supplements include:

  • Folic acid (to prevent birth defects)

  • Iron (to prevent anemia)

  • Calcium and Vitamin D (for bone health)
