Frequently asked questions

Uterine fibroids are non-cancerous growths in the uterus. They vary in size and may cause symptoms like heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain, frequent urination, or infertility. Some women have no symptoms at all.

Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, often causing pain, heavy periods, and sometimes infertility. It can affect the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and other pelvic organs.

Heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia) can be caused by hormonal imbalances, fibroids, polyps, endometriosis, blood clotting disorders, or underlying medical conditions. It is diagnosed when bleeding is excessive, prolonged, or interferes with daily life.
