			Frequently asked questions
Women should start Pap testing at age 21, and continue every 3 years if results are normal. From age 30 onwards, a Pap smear is often combined with an HPV test.
An abnormal result doesn’t mean cancer. It may indicate inflammation, infection, or early cell changes. Your doctor may suggest a repeat test, HPV test, or a colposcopy for closer examination.
